The one and dones just don't do much for me. Let them go straight to the NBA. Get rid of that rule. I honestly think that rule was largely a knee-jerk reaction to that disastrous 2001 draft class that saw Kwame Brown, Tyson Chandler, and Eddy Curry go 1, 2, 4 straight of HS and all bust. Chandler ended up developing into a good defensive big man but it took years of development and he was never close to worth his draft position and he was by far the best of that highly touted HS "phenom" class. -

I refuse to pass any kind of judgement off of week 1 game outcomes. Now with only 3 preseason games, I count 1 like the 4th preseason week, and week two like it is still old week one. So now it’s two weeks that I won’t judge. Flexible on that if I get a couple of years of feedback that challenges my assessment. What I think I know is I think the quality of play has sucked early the last few years.
