He'll be playing Strong Side Linebacker for us next season, just watch.

the extra 4 million from the league is a big part of that 7 million.

True, but it was still a nice job. Anyway, I mainly just wanted to give Rob Rodgers some credit, since most fans give all the credit to Hurney. Rodgers is the one who negotiated the Gross deal, and he's the one who is responsible for keeping the Panthers under the cap. Personally, I don't think there is anybody better at doing what he does

  All I can say is... I have some happiness off the rags choking and losing to the Panthers. Hopefully the Western conference team wins the Stanley cup, but now I can be 100% uninvested in the playoffs

  Yep. It was an obvious red flag that a lot of people ignored. The results/scores in preseason don’t matter, but individual performance very much does and individually, we looked like the least talented team in the league and it carried over.
