i know the intention of the cut was not to get pep, it's that JT didn't want to do a workout program over the summer that apparently is part of their deal... i'm just saying - that is another open door, on the other hand it also makes available another vet teams might vie for instead of pep... who knows how this is gonna work out?

The Washington Redskins just released DE Jason Taylor only a few days after signing DE Albert Haynesworth. This is something that doesn’t come as a surprise considering Taylor’s salary, age and tendency to get injured.

Yeah, someone did indeed say that, arguing that he wanted to play their in honor of Sean Taylor, and that he was so upset over Taylor's death that he essentially mourned for a week straight.

Of course, like all news related to Peppers, this was just a rumor.

Jason Taylor- In 13 weeks of play he only had 29 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and only 3.5 sacks. HE IS WASHED UP.

How many sacks did Julius Peppers have in 2007? Oh, but that lack of performance is easily explained, right? That whole "mystery illness" and all.

Taylor was injured in preseason and underwent a couple surgeries, not to mention he moved to left defensive-end.

I won't argue that Julius Peppers is the better player, because that seems pretty obvious to me. I just don't think Jason Taylor is by any means "washed up."
