What was your greatest Carolina moment/ play ever??

Have 2, both in 2005 even though I've been a fan since year 1

My first Panthers game I saw in person was out in Arizona and I had like 7th row 20 yard line seats on our sideline. This cards fan in front of me was screaming at Smitty every time he walked by all game. Then Smitty got the game winning TD in that endzone, walking back to the sideline he stops, points to the guy, pretends to pop a tab on the ball like a can, drink it, then went to toss him the ball but pretended like it was stuck in his hand. GREAT GREAT moment for me, was amazing.

Playoff game against the bears I wasn't told the house we were going to watch the game at was going to be ALL Bears fans, probably 20 Bears fans, a couple neutral, and me. Then Smitty gets that TD bomb and makes the DB going flying by him on the second play of the game, it shut them all up and I was going crazy.

That was just a great game/day, ended up going down to Mexico that night (I went to University of Arizona, so I was only like 90 minutes and we weren't 21 yet with no classes on Monday thanks to MLK Day).

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
