Moore looking good, likely to start?

He was playing against guys who will be post office workers in 3 weeks. Moore is a good backup to have. I love how Henne looked "terrible"

Umm....his first interception bounced off Anthony Fasanos fat hands into a falcons defenders......the 2nd int the WR ran the wrong route. Henne was also playing without Reggie Bush, Brandon Marshall or Jake Long.

Moore looked good, I'll admit. But he won't start unless Henne fuging explodes.

Lol at trd. He looked bad against the 2nd teamers. He looked awesome against 3rd teamers. Take your Homer glasses off. I remember you knocking jimmy clausens good practice because it was against our putrid secondary. I'm assuming you didn't watch this game.

I watched the whole thing...he was getting his clock cleaned all night, was playing with the 3rd RB and 3rd receivers and a non existent Oline.

He made good throws, regardless of coverage, which is what is important in preseason. He escaped the pocket a few times and other times he stood tall and delivered the ball in the face of the rush.

Some of those balls over the middle were very well thrown balls.

How would you rate our QBs play if Henne was atrocious and Moore was pretty bad?

Henne fired a ball 5 yards from 5 yards away to the backside of a receiver running an out route. That is a bad ball. Whether it should be caught or not is a different argument. If he throws an ACCURATE pass, that ball is probably caught and if not the defender is there to pick it since it's placed on the correct side.

If the WR ran the wrong route, don't stare him down, pat the ball, then throw it anyway. If he ran the wrong route, LOOK TO ANOTHER RECEIVER.

He still made the throw and it was poor.

Henne's TD also came against ATL backups with most of his starters still in, but no one will mention that.

He threw it behind the TE? Maybe slightly, but considering Fasano is overrated and is being paid 8 million dollars, you expect him to make that catch 100% of the time.

You make the 2nd int seem so easy to throw to someone else, it was play action, with a poo offensive line protecting, and no running game to really make the playaction "work" his first read is davonne bess who had a cover 2 defense, corner squatting, and safety over the top, Bess should have broke inside, Henne was expecting that, hence the clutch, then he threw it to bess, the corner squatting on the cover 2 broke back and made a real good play....Henne shouldnt have thrown it, but the other 2 WRs (none of them being Brandon Marshall) were double covered.....

It's preseason, Matt Moore once he is being game planned against, and defenses have a week scouting and watching tape on him, is what he is.....decent.

You don't know what you're talking about. The USPS has already cut over 100,000 jobs in the past four years and they're looking to cut another 150,000 jobs by 2015. Keep in mind that the USPS has lost over $20 billion over the last four years.

Oooooo so excited for trd vs. Henne given Sunday debates this year

Seriously though I wish nothing but the best for ole matty Moore, good guy, never really given a fair shake here (last season his first real season), and although I love bill Simmons I'm fuging tired of him trashing the panthers ( wrote an entire article about how greedy JR is) and saying that signing Matt Moore guaranteed the fins to win the luck sweepstakes

Go Moore prove the haters wrong

    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
    • Hoping someone tells us Bussi was in the starter's crease for the morning skate. Otherwise, place your 1st shot- 1st goal bets! Any closer to a deal that could land a 2C in Trocheck or Brayden Schenn? Or land a winger in Alex Tuch or reach for Jordan Kyrou?
