Winners and losers from tonight

dog how is jimmy a winner? he sucked. Cam looked incredible for his first game :o

How did he suck????? he was 4/7 and had a touchdown, yes he had a pick six, BUT he rebounded from that, something he NEVER did last year, in my book Clausen WAS a winner too.

the winners are Cam Newton, Jimmy Clausen, Amanti Edwards (his punt returns were MUCH better this year than last year) and Greg Olsen, all three had good games

Losers--Mike Goodson, he fumbled twice, Tynes (ouch and that's all i have to say).

cant put jimmy in the winners section because he made a terrible decision/ pass on that pick 6, and held the ball for a long time. but i do see the improvement in him, Pilares will also make this team. Thomas Williams was every where.

Edwards looked pretty good too.

Edwards had a great ST night and I believe, even with the drop on the slant, that he showed a lot in the receiving. He was able to get seperation several times and that was a worry with him and his size. He made some good moves to get open, like on the almost TD from Cam. Nice juke move and opened up 3 yards in less than 20 yards. He still has work to do but night and day from last year. Keep it up AE.

that 2nd sack Jimmy held the ball for around 4 seconds. you cant expect them to block for that long.

i put JimNmy in the winners section due to his touchdown pass, his pick six was bad, but he scored a TD, he did hold the ball for a long time, but the reason is no one seemed to get open, i put him in the winners section because he looks improved. NOW Newton had a better game in my book, but Clausen had a good game too.

46 return yards and 36 receiving yards. Had a drop on a slant but looked pretty good. Has work to do but night and day from last year.
