Talkin Cam on ATH

Most on ESPN have changed their minds on Cam in just 48hours. Maybe not on the Panther's overall, but the swing is starting on Cam for sure.

Yeah, if this week Cam goes out and throws 2 interceptions, the same guys will go back to their "I told ya so!" ..."cam sucks"...."he isn't an NFL QB" ....etc

The Giants were playing contain, thats awesome for Cam to throw in the pocket BECAUSE he can. When teams stop playing contain, it will be perfect for Cam to run it on them. Cam has to prove to defenses he can throw the ball so that they will respect him and drop contain, that's when he burns them on the ground.

In other words, keep them guessing. I like the way Rivera thinks.

Most coach would just say, do what u know because of the shortened training season. But it's clear Rivera knows what they have in Cam and can trust that he will adapt to all circumstances. That only bodes well for you guys if it helps win some of those tougher games.

Wow....I see I'm not the only one who realize the media has a love/hate relationship with Cam.

I honestly see the media's treatment towards Cam a little like Mark Sanchez's. They seem to have a very strong love/hate relationship with him also.

I'm a fan of both the Giants and Jets but swing more to the Jets. I see Jets like the Panthers, getting no real respect from the media because ur not one of the "choosen teams."

The point is we use them selectively when it supports our opinion then bash them when we don't like it, calling them clowns and ignorant, etc.

Literally every single day there is a new thread about what the national media said about the Panthers and it's usually complaining.

Quite entertaining

We use them when they state the truth not sit and repeat each others unchecked points, then fail to even admit when they are WRONG.

Sheesh..don't we already have this style of medium..It's called tabloid media.

The only thing mentioned on "ATH" was that he should start week one, and we heard the same thing 3X.

i would've liked it, it's other sports writers opinions, something good to listen to at times.

First, you are crazy....media is all over the Jets jocks.

However, they have a nasty defense...but one of the most over-rated offenses in the league. Their offense is middle of the pack at best.
