I'm not trying to defend Brown, but he was the victim of holding on several run plays. I think the ref called it once, but the holding looked the same on each play. As far as his pass rush is concerned, it just plain sucks.

I don't even know what to say about Everette at this point. I wanted him to be good so bad.

Yeh, there was a lot of holding on the edge that wasn't getting called...but at the same time Everette Brown was also at fault for A LOT of those big runs bc he broke contain and was just trying to rush the QB. Got way too far up field and just made it easy on the online/RB.

Yep, the guy can't set the edge. Either gets sucked in and unable to get off his block, or spins himself 15 yards in the backfield, comes out dizzy and behind the play, left only to lunge pathetically as the RB goes around the corner he vacated.

Just awful.

Just another of Hurney's brilliant trade next year's draft currency for this guy nobody else wants deals! Out of Everette Brown, Armanti Edwards, and Jeff Otah, only Otah occasionally has produced for the team.
