Games, seasons, and Super Bowls are...

Often determined by inches, big plays and upsets. I remember the replays of Peyton Manning's 4th quarter 4th down pass skimming over the fingertips of Ray Lewis which would lead to the winning score and eventually the Super Bowl. Last year if Tampa beats the Lions they go to the playoffs. Detroit ties it in the last minute, wins it in OT, breaks an NFL worst 26 game road losing streak and Green Bay goes to the playoffs instead.

Hopefully, today we get a glimpse of Cam's playmaking, differencemaking ability. Does he give us that play that only he can make with his legs or arm? Can CJ make that big sack and even create a turnover at a critical moment? Is TD back and better than ever? Can Smitty regain that magic and get into the endzone? Could there ever be such a thing as worst to first in the NFC South?

His point is there is a lot of hope and excitement right now. Its opening day, we are all in first place.... Who knows what can happen as long as we win today and get a little something going.

We got Cam and poo god damn I love this country and this sport. It's a glorious day to be alive! That's the point!

Why didn't he just say that? Short, simple and to the point

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
