Not much on the injury report to note. LB Adam Seward and DE Hilee Taylor still out, everybody else well. FS Charles Godfrey was excused to deal with an illness in the family.

You can sense a theme this week is going to be putting Monday's win behind them. Panthers coach John Fox called up his elders after practice (he didn't want to discuss their conversation), but it's clear he was looking for them to spread the word through the locker room. This is a focus week, with a non-conference foe coming in the week after the biggest regular season win in years.

It's probably not, however, a reaction to T Jeremy Bridges getting arrested. He was back on the practice field Wednesday, and they're still in the "gathering information" mode. Fox invoked "innocent until proven guilty," so they're not ready to issue any verdicts on a possible suspension or deactivation.

Bridges practices Wednesday

Reserve offensive lineman Jeremy Bridges, who was arrested last weekend on misdemeanor charges of simple assault and communicating threats at a local restaurant, practiced on Wednesday.

Bridges was inactive for Monday night's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Coach John Fox didn't have an update on Bridges' status with the Panthers going forward, but said "the last time I looked, you're innocent until proven guilty."

    • Oh I was.  But we still had great players.
    • You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season.  He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season.  That's what you get from AT.  ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch.  He is steady.  At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams.  Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league.  Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family.  You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad.  You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam.  Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge.  Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe?  I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
