BS stats adjustment!!

For those of you not aware of this Atrocity on the game of football, here's what happened. They gave Hakeem Nicks credit for a catch of 23 yards in the monday night game on Wednesday! It was indeed a catch, but was ruled incomplete on the field, and they accepted a pass interference call which put them on the 9 yard line. Below is my rebuttal to the league, this is the email that I sent:

I found this Video on the NFL website... you should have the OFFICIAL LEAGUE SCORERS take a look at it

http://www.nfl.com/videos/auto/09000d5d82267c11/Rams-vs-Giants-highlights

the 44 second mark begins the play. It's very clear as to what happens next. In fact, if it were ruled a completion they would have marked the ball at the 6 yard line on the next play, which is where he went out of bounds at. really easy to see in the video. Instead, they marked the ball at the 9 yard line "at the spot of the foul" by rule. So that within itself proves that on the field he was NOT credited with a catch.

The NFL has made enough mistakes in the last year... are they now willing to make another one that will unfairly alter the record books?

The SAD part in all of this is that he DID IN FACT MAKE THE CATCH IN BOUNDS!!! He was not awarded the catch because it was ruled incomplete on the field, and they accepted a Pass Interference call that spotted the ball at the 9 yard line. Not the 6 where he went out of bounds.

And if you're going to award him points, I would think that you would have given him 26 yards for his completion and not 23! The line of scrimmage on that play was the 32 yard line. He didn't go out until the 6 yard line. 32 minus 6 equals 26...not 23.

The NFL needs to look at it and make it right. Even if he keeps his fantasy points, it should be IMPORTANT to the League to get it right.

I lost because of this Bogus BS! I had originally won by 1.3 points. But after awarding him points for a 23 yd reception, in our league it's 2.3 points. I ended up losing by 1 point and it's BS. Watch the video...

No offense TCF, cuz i like you and stuff, but HAHAHAHAHAHA! that is some S.HITTY TITTIES right there!

So again, how is this Panthers related?

Should I start a thread about how I couldn't find my keys today?

And YES, I am mad bro!!!

It cost me a win in my $$ league in fantasy

I was about to go to sleep, and was just checking to see if my trade went through, when I noticed that I was 1-1 and not 2-0... At first I thought my LM was fuggin with me but upon further review, they changed dudes stats!

I got out if bed and wrote them an email. Now it's 3:30 am and I'm still so pissed that I can't sleep.

Yes, I understand that I may have an anger issue. But damn!!

Seriously...not only is this the wrong forum, no one cares it cost you your fantasy game unless it was a league based on this forum...I'm usually all for "if you don't wanna read it, don't click it" but this is probably the lamest thread ever started on this forum...and that's a pretty tall claim.

    • You could say that-- but if we don't need a starting OT this year, why would you draft a flawed one that is not going to play? (We are coming from different underlying assumptions and perspectives--I see your argument and don't disagree with the premise) Your thinking is based on the assumption that an OT for the future is more important than immediate needs at other positions, or that we can meet other needs in later rounds even if we take the OT in round 1.  I do not think there is but 1 OT worthy of a first-round grade---they are mocked based on need and demand--if we do not have a need for a starter right now, a team at 18 may grab a T that is the 33rd best player--worth it if you have no starting T, but not if you have a starter.  So just because they are mocked around the middle of the first it does not mean that the players are good values--teams get desperate.  QBs are a great example.  Simpson may be worth it in round 1 for the Cardinals, but not the Jets, because they have Geno Smith.  Sure, they will need a QB by next year, but taking Simpson is a reach. I do not see our need, with 2 starters (Walker and Moton) and another possibly returning by the end of the season enough to justify ranking OT over positions like Safety, Will LB--I do not think we replaced A Shawn Robinson (We gonna put a NT out there?  Wharton (280lbs)?  So do we reach in round 1 for a player who may not play much or do we get a Will LB that can cover?  A deep free safety?  A quality center? A playmaking TE?  A DT to replace Robinson?  A wide receiver to balance the secondary?  Long term, if the right player was there, you would be right.  Short term, OT is a luxury at this point, in my view.
    • Put Huey P Newton on the helmet. With his AK.
    • We arent switching. Evero is 3-4 to the core. Given how 3-4 has been a noticeable characteristic of top defenses recently and we have drafted and signed players fir it  I dont know why anyone would think that's a good idea
