I dont hate Jay Cutler. I think he has talent. Id even say I kinda feel sorry for him because he hasnt lived up to the pressure and hype people have put on him as an NFL "pocket passing" QB. That said, Cameron's potential is much greater than Cutler's ever was, and he has a history of WINNING that Cutler never has had. I cant ever imagine Cameron quitting on us in a big game. Give me Newton every time over Jay.

For a good laugh, I'd like to see a list of QBs Grits would take over Cam, as well as a list of players he would try and convert to QB over Cam.

Always so much hate for cutler.

A lot of those in the sports media don't like Cutler because he has made it known that he doesn't like them...:D.

It's way to early to anoint Cam Newton as a star. That is just reality, even though I am and have been a big supporter of his.

However, not only would I rather have Cam, I would rather have probably 20 to 25 other NFL QB's than Jay Cutler. He has a great arm, and when he is on he is capable of putting up big numbers, but I don't like him as a leader or teammate. His body language and facial expressions are very negative, and he is not at all above throwing his teammates under the bus. Just this week when asked if he had confidence in his o-line, his answer was "I don't have any choice". That is not the kind of answer that is going to make his team rally around him.

If Chicago fans prefer him, that's fine. They can keep him.

Why not...they have already done it to guys like Blaine Gabbert. And we won't even mention Andrew Luck....darnit, I did mention him..:D
