Our offense got a ton of new weapons, including Chud. Our defense lost 1 starter due to injuries.

You can argue it to the death, but those guys are the standard for rookie QBs. You can think Luck will bust all you want, but it's just based on hatred after being turned down.

Cam is doing fine, but the insecurities on the Huddle are laughable.

I never said anything about luck being a bust I just want you to look at this stat real quick for all these rookie QBs you mentioned who are the standard for rookie qbs

Andy Dalton: 2 ranked defense in the nfl

Joe Flacco: 2nd ranked defense when he was a rookie starting

Mark Sanchez: 1st ranked defense

Ben Rothlisberger: 1st ranked defense

Matt ryan is the only exception with horrible defensive play.

All of these QBs had a defense that helped them win games.

Dalton may very well end up having one of the best rookie seasons for a QB, even if they lose the rest of the games they play this year, it's yet to be seen.

ya im not even arguing the logic of how many yards cam has had.

cam has made plenty mistakes and andy dalton hasnt had as many.

Do I think andy dalton deserves to maybe be rookie of the year over cam right now? yes I do.

DO I think Cam is as bad as you thought he would be no, I think he is playing great for what I anticipated this year to be like for him a guy who played in a option offense with only 1 full year of college experience.

Not that you see anything objectively, but guys like Flacco, Sanchez, Big Ben, Ryan, Dalton, they are the standard for rookie QBs. Guys that come in and lead their teams to wins, give them a chance at the playoffs.

Records mean nothing, unless it's W/L record.

Every one of those guys landed on pretty good teams that were only one year out of the playoffs, except Sanchez who was on a team that barely missed the playoffs and traded up to get him.

And every one of them had a great defense.

What do you honestly expect Luck's record to be if he gets drafted by a team like the Dolphins, Cardinals, or Broncos?

So the Huddle got what it wanted, instead of winning games 20-17, we'd like to lose them 35-28.

Instead of building a winning team for Cam, we built an offensive juggernaut to make him the standard for rookie QBs entering the league and while doing so we handcuffed our franchise for the next 4-5 years salary cap wise.

What do you expect Cam to do with an offensive scheme that sent DA to the probowl, two pass catching TEs, a top 10 receiver, and the best RBs in the game?

What do you expect Dalton to do with a good defense and a young offense?

Yet you praise one for doing what is expected and discredit another for doing the same thing.
