As stated early I have been taught and believe that a football game basically comes down to 2 or 3 plays and that's it. You don't know which couple of plays so you play each snap as if it were your last. The biggest play of the game as far as I am concerned was the Vikes final drive 3rd and 7 deep in their end and Ponder dumps to Harvin in the flats and Gamble wiffs on a lazy tackle attempt. Harvin spins gets 8 and we lose. Gamble plays that out hard makes the tackle the Vikes punt deep out of their end and never march the field and take the lead plan and simple. We have great field position and then who knows?

Yeah the Mare FG was brutal. Face it Special teams has basically cost us 4 games this year. Time to fire the ST coach! :eek:

And for those that say this is short sighted let me say the Panthers have the most holding penalties in the league they held on a couple critical plays today and that my friends is a lack of discipline and goes straight to the Head Coach:cuss:

I gotta say that while I'm not calling for anybody to be fired, I sure as heck have been way underimpressed with our special teams play. As it doesn't seem to get better, I have to place that on the coach.

we are jamming in a brand new system and terminology. to some extent that ceases to be a valid argument, but its like a nagging hamstring and nothing will remedy it but time and rehabilitation
