2. Draft Cliff Harris!!!

3. later rounds draft DE, SS, NT, QB, RB, OL depth

Regular Season:

It doesn't have to be a superstar or vet signing. A draft pick is even better. It is just that it would be nice to have someone on the defensive side of the ball that had the fire of a Smitty or Shockey. Someone with attitude. We haven't had that in a while.

1) I don't care how many FA's we have to bring in, or how many picks we use, but we have to get better play at the DT position.

2) Get a solid starter at OLB.

3) Solidify #2 WR. Naanee hurts us more than helps us.

4) Select depth players with the experience and the desire to play on ST.

I agree our first priority is DT then a olb that can cover a stud TE.Naanee is the worse number 2 in the league and then we need a offfensive rt.

The problem is I do not see a Dt in the draft that will warrent a to 10 pick.I guess if Edwards is healthy we will have a NT.

I agree 100%. I went to the 'Skins game and remember that field goal we were kicking, the one that kept getting called back because of flags. The mental errors on this squad are HUGE!!!

Beason was a big loss don't get me wrong, but our cornerback situation is shaky, but if were a tighter unit that didn't make the errors, like you said, we'd see much improvement.

IMO, there is only one reason both our Defense and Special Teams are so bad. LACK OF TALENT. Until we upgrade the talent level, our D and ST will be stocked with lesser talent. Which shows in poor production on the field.

It does not matter where we get them, but we absolutely need to add athletes to this team. A disruptive DT, and a ball hawking Safety would be a good start. But we are not going to fix the D and ST play until we have talent and depth. Both of which are in short supply at the moment.

I don't watch a lot of west coast college football, so I didn't know who this was. While using my google skills I came across this:

1) Shore Up DT spot (either through draft or FA)

2) Unless Brandon Hogan is the man we need another CB opposite Gamble (draft or FA)

3) Find a return specialist in the draft

4) Find a #2 WR (FA)

5) Do something with Clausen other than keeping him

6) Rework Thomas Davis' contract so we can keep him on the cheap once he returns from injury

7) Put Beason's Achilles Tendon back together

8) Give the ball to Cam and tell him to keep feeding Smitty.

1. Has anyone mentioned finding a replacement for Hurney? I know some people like him but I can't help but wish they made a Fat-Head of him so I could have something to throw crap at. There are better options out there!

2. I don't think Goodson or Clausen will continue to be set where they are so why not try to get something out of nothing!

3. Please get rid of players the Chargers didn't want, Applewhite being an execption. Sorry but Nanee and Tutu are not players worth taking up spots on the roster if we are trying to improve.

4. Find players that can actually tackle on special teams!

5. Find a kicker that can put it through the freakin uprights from 30 yards!

6. Maybe cut ties with Jeff Otah? I mean 3 out of 4 years on IR doesn't improve the team right? I'm sure he is not willing to come off of any money either.

7. The list could go on but definetly need to fix our defense. Beason is awesome but he can't be the one thing hurting our defense right now!
