Autographed Smitty jersey?

CarolinaAllDay

I have an Authentic that I'm waiting to get signed...I will frame it as soon as I get it signed and will never sell it. Smitty is one of the greatest ever to put on a Panthers jersey. I hope Cam can change that because I would love to get his jersey signed and framed also.

Im not saying I wouldnt like to have one, but I just dont think you buy a Steve Smith autographed jeresy with the intentions of holding on to it till it sky rockets in value and you get 2 million bucks for it. You buy it to keep not to resell is all im saying.

to say an autographed jersey's value = an unautographed jersey's value is just dumb. especially considering he (and you?) is a carolina panthers fan. everyone here would pay extra money for an autographed jersey.

Its not dumb its reality. If you think an autographed Smith jersey is worth a substantial amount of money you are high. 100-150 bucks is reasonable which is roughly the same as a non signed jersey. It will cost way more to get it framed then to buy

i didn't say it's worth a substantial amount of money. i said it's worth more than the face value of a standard jersey. i was also referring to it's intrinsic/emotional value, not monetary.

He was asking about monetary value... Did he pay to much was the question. I dont think that ment did he emotionally invest too much by clicking buy it now. Given the fact that he can potentially buy a jersey and get Smith to sign it, if he paid more then the jersey costs the answer, like I said, is yes he paid too much.

i wish i could fist bump you irl for that pic. I just fugin died laughing.

On topic, Its a size XL authentic alternate jersey signed Steve Smith #89 on the middle of the 9 and on the bottom curl he signed "Spiderman". Its got the steve smith authentic card (like the one i got with the row the boat smith picture i got) as well as two pictures of him actually signing the jersey.

I picked it up for $100 shipped. I thought i got a good deal considering i saw others without the 2nd signature for 200 online. :D

    • Burns quit on his team, full stop. Burns was and continues to be a liability in the run.    JC has never looked this bad before the concussion. He always was a very solid tackler, from what I remember.  I’ll take the overall body of his work over his current down stretch. I’ve never had to question his heart. The FO has royally screwed up roster management in many other deals but retaining Horn continues to be the right move. He will be back to form next season.
    • I get it. I was making a joke that we have zero chance of winning.
    • Did Bryce play bad? Yes. Did the whole offense play bad? Yes.  Was Canales bad with his playcalling? Yes. Now with that being said I don't put this loss solely on Bryce Young. The seahawks are a much more talented team than us and to win in a scenario like that you need some luck which we didn't have that day.  Bryce has shown this year that you can win with him at QB but the problem is that he doesn't have the ability to elevate the rest of the team around him. Bryce was a number 1 overall pick who we traded a haul of assets to get going into the end of his 3rd year the expectations need to be much higher than 54 yards passing.  It's been nice to get some wins this year and have a chance to make the playoffs and Bryce has played a part in that but at some point the front office needs to see that you can't keep giving Bryce a pass for these low production games.
