cb, dt or lt needs to be the first pick.

1st claiborne(need to be able to stop fast scores and 3rd downs)

2nd kendall wright(steve is getting old, and need another option when he is double coverd or if he gets hurt. downfeild threat)

kali is good but cam is elusive and gross aint that bad, just get the ball out faster.

ron is coming back and the d line limited blount and foster pretty good with new guy playing now. so dt is not as high on my list anymore.

maybe try to get spence-olb in the later rounds, and a saftey or ot.

The reason I said it wasn't going to happen is because I don't see Cleveland taking Richardson at 4, which shakes everything up. Coples at 5?? Quick name 1 Jaguars receiver.

Times up, you can't. IDK. Alot depends on the new coaching staffs as well. Its too early really. This stuff will change several times. Wake me up in March.

Now lets not go making proclamations about how good or bad guys will be. Where did that get you last year??

We'll take the best player available. And no, that doesn't mean a RB or a QB, use your head.

I would add WR and TE to that list. I'm really close to putting DE on that list as well.

So are we now going to throw the ball 40 times a game now??

Some people need to get off the Madden.

We have the 5th Ranked offense with NO Offseason, A rookie QB, and a New Coaching Staff. That can only get better with more exp. Added another young WR isn't going to make us the greatest show on Truf. Really adding another WR is taking touches away from our RB's, TE's, and snaps from our other young WR.

Even if you cut TUTU and Edwards you still have Lafell, Adams, Gettis, and Key. All under 26 years old. Give them a chance to develop.

WE DON"T NEED BLACKMON!!

thats why Rivera brought LA in because those young guns wasnt producing. you cant sit back and wait on talent to develop on your team, you need to bring in talent for competition. Adams is camp fodder at best, Gettis is coming off a acl tear, Lafell is not a #1 and key?

i do realize this is not madden, but in order to build a championship team you need to have depth. im sorry you cant support your answer other than saying that, but this team needs talent everywhere. dont reach for a guy, when elite talent is on the board.

1st it usually takes 3 years for a wr to develop (don't let Calvin Johnson,Randy Moss and AJ green fool you they are not the norm). We are in year 2 with Lafell (not to mention no offseason) and year 1 with everybody else.

2nd you don't build depht with your 1st round pick!!! They guy should be a starter from day one. Depht is built with your 3rd thur 6th round picks.

3rd Now Lafell is starting over LA so I guess he's earn his spot.

4th Again we are the 5th ranked offense and the only offense in the top 5 not in the playoff race. WHY IS that??? (Defense) The offense with a full offseason will get better without adding anybody but our players on IR. We need to use our resources (draft & FA) to help our defense.

5th "Elite talent" remeber Micheal Carbtree was "elite Talent" as well. To many holes on defense to take a chance on a player that really isn't needed in the big picture.

everyone saying blackmon isn't a top 10 pick hasn't seen him play/doesn't watch football

I agree he is a top 10 pick for teams like Jacksonville, Minny, and the rams. Not for us.

Also what is really funny is

Justin Blackmon # are no different then you know who.:gnorsi:

his numbers are definitely better. if he fell to us at 9 or 10 i would have no problem taking him. elite possession receiver

we have 2 pro-bowl caliber running backs along with cam newton with another 2-3 good years left in steve with a banged up bad defense, pretty sure we can afford to wait another year before we decide we need to draft a replacement for smitty.

i would be sad if we decided to use our money pick on offense, i would rather trade the pick for more picks

Blackmon might develope into a good possession reciever at the next level. He'll have to fucus on winning jump balls, he's 6'1", but his long arms will help a little, and he'll have to use his strong body to try and shield defenders from the ball. He's not going to stretch the field and get good seperation at the next level imo. He'll eventually be a #2 WR if things go well, but I wouldn't spend a top 10 pick on him. You spend a top ten pick on a WR, the hope is you get a great WR like AJ Green, not Blackmon.
