If Brees breaks Marino's record, does that put him in the HOF?

He's in no debate, took a hapless franchise and made them winners. I still hate san diego for trading him and sproles to them without hardly any compensation at all.

When did this happen?

Brees left after his shoulder was shredded and was not under contract.

Sproles left after his contract had expired, and only after SD had franchised him. Hence paying the 3rd down back the average of the top RB's in the league.

I honestly do not get the classless comments.

It was obvious the goal was to break the record, not score more points. It was happenstance that the TD distance was very close to the distance need to break the record.

If Brees is consider to be classless. Then I do not want to be classy. Brees is a heck of role model. I am sure he is fallible like us all, but I honestly haven't seen it in public.
