Newton or Vick?

Vick had a great year last year, but for me, i say Newton because at least he's not missed 3 or more games like Vick did last year. Vick had the better team last year and i think we have the better QB. Newton will be better than Vick if he remains healthy (and i think he will)

vick did go to the playoffs last year but he lost in the first round......

as a dual threat QB...i want to go with newton this year if nothing else because he was a rookie and because of the situation he was in.

both seasons are very impressive, though vick's might be a bit more impressive just looking at the numbers.

vick had him in # of wins...but it's a team sport and it takes a team effort to win or lose a game so we'll leave it at that.

vick had a better comp%, better QBR and a much better TD:INT ratio. of course it could be argued that he's got a better corps of WRs to throw to in a more established system although they did switch from their usual WCO to a spread to better make use of vick's skill set. as a rusher, even though vick had less TDs and more fumbles, that 6.8 ypa is hard to ignore.

newton did have more yardage and more yards a game, but it seems vick was more efficient as a passer. it's a tossup in the run game, though. newton has a lot more TDs and significantly less fumbles, but vick was quite a bit more effective with yards per carry.

i'd give the edge to newton as a runner, but overall to vick.

Cam is better "built" to run. Hes more durable and bigger than vick by a lot. But i think vick is a faster runner
