I see Minnesota being in good position to trade down. A team wanting RGIII will want to move ahead of Cleveland. If we decide we do not want a LOT, then we will have offers. Kansas City, Arizona, Buffalo, Baltimore, Atlanta, St. Louis, Indy, Minnesota all want LTs.

Several more need RTs. I figure that Kalil will go second, and there is a chance that Reiff or Jonathan Martin will be the only starting-caliber LT on the board when we pick. I imagine the offer would be nice.

You have almost convinced me it is a possibility. I would love it if we could trade down and grab DeCastro or Devon Still and then have an extra 2nd rounder and maybe a 3rd. to spend on this deep class of CB's and LB's

However, he is a leader, and he is a great run blocker. Is he worth $7 million--no. I would restructure him and make him take less.

MY question is this: If we draft a player like Reiff or Martin who can play LT, does that make Wharton, our backup LT, more expendible?

TD has a roster bonus of about $9 million that is on the books. We will never pay a dime of it. If Hurney restructures and gives him more guaranteed money, I will find where he parks and let every bit of air out of his tires.

Wharton is overpaid because we have called on him to play tackle and he is capible of that.I would think they will try to restructure his contract.

DE's don't have to generate pressure just because they play in a 4-3, aggressive blitz schemes are an example. If you're playing a Cover 2, for example, then you're relying almost completely on your front four to generate pressure.

Hardy did a good job getting pressure and moving QB's, but not getting the sacks. Keiser was also effective when he played.

If you held a gun to my head right now and made me make a pick without trades or unforeseen slips like Blackmon or Claiborne, then I take Fitzpatrick and cut AE. Fitz can return punts plus is a very good CB who I think would play early and start at some point. I love his combination of size, speed and physicality.

I'd look at FS or OLB in the second. Depth the rest of the way.

I agree they do not hyave to get pressure but if you look at the Giants most of there pressure comes from the front 4 which allows better coverage of rbs,TEs and wrs.I agree that either Fitz or an OT are going to be the BPA at our pick
