Hello from a Broncos Fan

just dropped in to say and how I'm looking forward to this game! We all know about your beastly RB duo, and how bad our defense is. That is why I expect a shootout, us by air you guys by ground. Now one key matchup that I'm most excited about is our ROTY Clady, going against Julius Peppers. In only 13 games he has given .5 of a sack ( Seymour came inside of him and outside of the guard. He's shutdown many DE's but I want him to shutdown one of the top 3, and who better than peppers? Well enough of my babbling, here's to an injury free game! And may the best team win!!

P.S don't overlook us! The falcons did, and you know what happened.

Glad you are here, and hope you stay after the game. This should be a very entertaining game. This game is very important to us, it gives us all our tiebreakers, so I don't think Fox and company will be overlooking you, that's ESPNs job. :cheers2: to a good and injury free game!

Yea I was a big Clady fan as well, but I think we did alright. My senses tell me, whatever you expect, you should actually expect the opposite. I know Denver did well against the Falcons run game, hopefully we take some shots down field early to make sure the box is soft.

nothing better than a soft box :)

    • Agents only have the upper hand if they think/expect the teams to cave in the end, but that 30 of the 2nd rounders remain unsigned, it shows the Agents might not have it in this case.  A 2nd round pick isn't going to sit out their rookie season as a holdout to re-enter the draft the next year and improve their draft stock and/or ability to stick in the NFL, you really need to be an elite QB prospect to even have the remote chance of doing that successfully. Teams have to draw a line somewhere, if they all say the line is the 1st round, then there isn't much the Agents can do about it if the teams all hold firm, which they should. And yes, you're right about the rookie wage scale, which is exactly why I don't think the Agents will be winning this battle in the end.  The teams know they already screwed up rookie contracts once, they aren't going to fall down that slippery slope again and let it snowball on it's way down.
    • Then we had some impressive coaches to finish 8th from worst plus all of our injuries.  Titans and Raiders were pretty bad as well.
    • Agents have been out-negotiating GMs for years. That's why they had to implement the rookie wage scale. Top drafted rookies were basically starting to walk into the NFL as some of the highest paid guys in the league. Take it up in the next CBA. In the meantime, it is what it is. Agents hold the upper hand in these rookie negotiations and they know it. The teams already have a significant unrecoverable investment spent on these draftees in the value of the pick that they spent. Given the rookie wage scale there's not much to negotiate other than guarantees and offset language and once again the agents are kicking the GMs' asses again.
