Hey guys, new here. Big Lions fan trying to learn a little bit about Panthers football.

At #8, and at this point, dont you think Still or Brockers might be a reach? I can see trading down a few spots and taking him, but there should still be some higher quality players at 8. Obviously I dont know your team as much as you guys do, but I think if CB is a big need for you, Kirkpatrick would be a solid pick there dont you think?

It might be a little bit of a reach but the DT position is top heavy. When it comes to value, drafting a Brockers or a Still at 8 and then a CB with our 2nd round pick is better than drafting Kirkpatrick with 8 and waiting to see who remains at DT with our 2nd rounder.

Personally I think it'd be best to trade down.

At CB we have Gamble and Munnerlyn. We are set with Gamble but Munneryln needs an upgrade. Munnelyn is better (even if by a little) at the nickel DB position. He also plays a factor in ST. So we will keep him just doesn't offer anything in coverage.

At DT we don't have set starters. We rotated a lot due to injuries and production, or lack thereof. We drafted 2 DTs last year in McClain and Fua. Both, especially Fua, were underwhelming. Ron Edwards, a FA signing from last year, should be back and was expected to start.

Yep, 4-3. We showed a bit of the 3-4 last year and there have been some rumblings that we will be using it more.

But for Worthy, I guess I'd consider him but not too sure. Not too sure why he dropped off this year. I do like his teammate Gholston but he's not in this draft.

Gholston is a monster and Worthy or Cox in the 2nd would be nice(great value). i think Worthy seen a lot more attention/ double teams this year which allowed Gholston to have 1 on 1 match up with tackles.plus he would have to get into better shape so he can stay on the field.

If we don't draft a CB within the first 2 rounds I will be Pissed beyond belief. Gamble is a somewhat decent corner when you look at the big picture, Captain is a nickel, we need another starter opposite Gamble.

SN: Martin needs to be pushed by some competition. I don't like the combo we have right now at safety. Godfrey is legit, no doubt, but Martin is so hit and miss, its hard to accept him as a legitimate starter.
