just curious, what is pay for doing something like that? a few hundred bucks a week, housing? They have a team in my city, and I was always curious what it was like for pay and stuff. what about practice, how many times during the week, and does everyone take it pretty serious?

good job btw, that's a cool thing to be doing.

Honestly .. not a whole hell of a lot at all.. Maybe not at all until the middle of the season. It all depends on how many sponsors and how you market the team. The way it stands right now we have zero home games. If we can rack up some wins we should make like you said about 200-300 dollars a game .. maybe more for starters. Right now it's just men out there busting their ass for each other.

Practice is on Saturday and Sunday. Practices for us are about 6 hours long. We basically play 2 games. We have Special teams then position drills and then straight into 7on7 for about 12-15 drives. Then its full on 11-11 for the rest of practice and if the offense scores we kick extra points. If we go 3 and out .. we punt and then take the ball back to the 20 and do it again. Then we have 20 gassers .. which is we line up on the sideline and we run sideline to sideline which 53 1/2 yards twice .. so a total of 2140 yards at the end of practice. We also have conditioning on tuesday and thursday at 9:30 at night till midnight.

And yes everybody out there has a chip on there shoulders. We have D2 guys out trying to get to the nfl and former highschoolers trying to get to college.. Nobody is letting up for anybody. And i appreciate it man :)

I fully expect you to either flip them the bird or moon them while they are there.

But for real, Congrats! that sounds like fun. Best of luck to you.

Psh.. you think that's all i'm gonna do. Im gonna hit the super cam. Pop em a couple birds .. call em the fugingqueers. Etc. I'm not out here for scholarships or the nfl, just to play the sport I love. I've got this :p
