Some more explanations on the different picks (admittedly I was at the point of where I just wanted to post it and go to bed when it was submitted XD):

I would rather see what McClain and Fua do with an actual NFL offseason under their belts to go with their one year of experience. Ron Edwards I think will provide help immediately, and Andre Neblett isn't a bad rotational guy. Jason Shirley was also looking pretty solid as well. I think it would be a grave mistake to get yet another rookie DT and try to plug them in right away. It just doesn't make sense to me, especially with the void at the #2 CB position.

The few posters that might be more familiar with me also have more than likely read how I believe we are set at WR and that other positions should be addressed. However, a 6'4" 215lbs wide receiver that runs a 4.3sec 40yd dash is ridiculous. Couple that with the style of offense that the team has (oh look, we run dat option also sometimes :D) and Cam's occasional high throws would make Hill a welcome addition. It would also allow the team to cut Armanti who, as much as love as I have for him, has done nothing of value. Pilares I'm not particularly sold on either. Smith is getting old and there is no clue about Gettis' injury (if we're going to write off TD after his first tear, Gettis should be put under the scope as well). I do agree with the 2nd pick needing to be a starter as well, but Janzen can start and be picked up in the 4th. Greg Olsen technically fills in as the #3. That's 3... 3 starters!. If Hill comes in and takes over the #2 WR spot, then that is 4... 4 starters!

Acho looks like that he could immediately come in and play as a back-up as he develops. Russell Wilson would also allow us to cut Jimmy, as a lot of this mock draft is geared towards helping the team get below the salary cap as well. I'm no GM (nor a male docking station, despite Luke's fantasies) so take whatever numbers I've crunched with a grain of salt (in Luke's case, there seems to be plenty of sodium in his diet already).

I do not subscribe to made up "rules" for the draft. I think that limiting yourself in order to follow a socially acceptable outline is full retard. Anger has been given a 5th round grade by scouts, and what exactly are we looking to get in the 7th round? Another Captain Munnerlyn? Mackenzy Bernadeau? C.J. Wilson? Robert McClain? Whomever else the #200 ranked player is?

Why NOT spend the pick on a punter, which is a team need, and lock him up as opposed to letting him go compete somewhere else?

1. Good point I just got tired of Fua being on roller skates and watching Street FA get more tackles in 2 or 3 starts then he did all season.

2. I just don't get that Hill is a once in a life time talent you have to have. IMO there will be a wr 6'4 that runs a fast time next year and the year after that and so on and so on. So if he isn't starting his 1st year and we could have gotten a starter at another position with that pick. I feel it's a wasted pick.

3. Last Capt is a good nickle CB just not a starter and Bernadeau is good on the left side he's just really bad on the right. I will never feel like a punter or Kicker is better value then a positional player who can be a back-up and play special teams. But again this is just my Opinion.
