I'm not going to say that you're not real Panther's fans, but you would be advised to do a litttle research on our history and consider the fact that Cam may not exactly be the perfect quarterback you believe him to be. Ask yourself this question "If Cam bombs, can I see myself still being a 'Panther's fan;" if the answer is no then you should simply leave now in my opinion.

I remember the Super Bowl year and how the self appointed fanlyer than crowd pissed and moaned about all the bandwagoners. Could they be the same peeps that conplain about opposition fans and empty seats in BOA? I say welcome and go and buy yourself a PSL.

I've been going to Panther games since their first season at Clemson and I've seen the fans jump on and jump off....and jump back on.

I find this thread a bit ironic considering the fact that the media is trying to sell The Golden Calf of Bristol to other teams base solely on his fanbase.

I have yet to hear anyone of the talking heads saying that a team should take Tim because he's a good QB. All of it have been more about the amount of butts the team can get in the stadium seats. So where ever Tim goes, so does his fans.

I feel that Cam coming to the Panthers have more opened up this team to a new audience who may not have even studied them before, than folks being bandwagon jumpers. I myself, will always root for the Panthers even thou I wasn't a staunch follower before Cam came on board. All he did was give me another team to root for outside of my own.

I'm sure whichever team takes Tim won't be worried about fans who are only there because of Tim.

I do not mind if we gain new fans because of Cam at all. In regards to doing research on the Panthers I beleive that would just prove what we have now is the best QB we have ever seen in Carolina. Could he go all mental and blow up? Sure but so could I and maybe run down the street naked but I don't see it happening. If he continues on his current path he will have a Jordan type effect on this franchise. Players will take less money to get on the train.
