Picked Up A Second Job.

Are you serious?

Where do you live?

I can't imagine, what is on your resume? What skills do you have? How big are you?

Live in Rockingham county. My resume is excellent, 10 years in the same field, 7 years at my last employer. Went above and beyond, received numerous awards, like those mean anything. I'm 6'2, 238 (down from 260, goal is 220). Check your PM's.

I offer template services. I'm still getting business, just not enough to keep up with my current needs. The area that I live in is very rural, and I only get a limited amount of business from Wilmington since there are 4 other established design firms there. Hopefully things will pick up.

As to your question Panthro. I apply constantly to bigger companies, but remember that I'm a 3 time convicted felon with 14 charges that show up on a background check. It's a little bit tougher for me.

Maybe you should cut back on your doorstep drug deliveries. Then you wouldn't have to work at Taco Bell.

Taco Bell does a decent job with my order and the food never tastes stale like McDonald's does at certain times of day. I don't understand how an employee of McDonald's can give a fellow human being an old fish filet sandwich that is hard as a brick. I'm not the kind of person to complain or ask for a refund, I just don't eat there anymore.

Taco Bell is an employer just like any other. It's obviously not the most glamorous job but statistics show that most people dislike the job they're currently in. It's not about necessarily enjoying your job but making the most out of the situation that should be the goal.

I don't know about Chik-Fil-a's hiring practices but I do know that I have never gotten bad service at one. People who work there are always nice, polite, and truly seem to want to give the customer good service. Need to stop by there on the way home now.

And as someone mentioned earlier, anyone who works or is looking for work gets respect.

I do, that just wasn't funny.

I bought it before we talked. I bought this WebPlus X5, and have been trying to do this myself. (I have done "template" websites before.) After two days of working on it, I have a page and a half to show for it. (I might add, not happy with the design of the page and a half.) In fact, I'm 95% sure I'm going to scrap it and start all over.

There just isn't anything out there for my business. I only found one website that I like, but I hate to copy it.

Legal Zoom called me last night. (I incorporated through them.) They said they can design me a professional website with on line store for $94 a month with the first month free. I told them thanks, but I had a designer.

Even if you can take a template and "massage" it. It has to be better than what I have come up with. I hope it's not long before I get paid.

The templates that I have are ones that I created. I can do just about anything with them. It's just a way to save you money. We can customize them almost entirely: pictures, graphics, etc. They all have CSS script as well for easy layout editing.

I use the full adobe cs5 creative suite: Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, After effects, Illustrator, Photoshop.
