Has Fletcher Cox Been In For A Visit?

You should really never believe anything Hurney says in from Feb 15th to May 1st.

Oklahoma State star wide receiver Justin Blackmon and Mississippi State standout defensive tackle Fletcher Cox visited the St. Louis Rams today.

Cox also has visits with the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers and the Buffalo Bills, according to a league source.

Unless the "league source" has a name I see it being what I just said, someone saw him at the airport in Charlotte.

This is a very weird report. There's definitely people who seem to think that that he's had a visit, and then there's Hurney saying that he hasn't had a visit. (For the record, PFT doesn't have him listed as visiting us, but I'm pretty sure their list isn't very accurate.)

I mean, I know there's pre-Draft smokescreens, but something like this, why would it make sense to lie? A simple Google search would be all it takes to find out he's lying.

You can look at the term visit in many ways.

1. Maybe they met him at the airport or a dinning spot in charlotte but he didn't actual come to the stadium. So now Hurney can say he didn't come for a visit.

But wouldn't meeting him still constitute as him being there for a visit. If he meant it like that, I assume he would've said, "No, Fletcher Cox hasn't come in for a workout."
