Potential, guys. These players aren't exactly expected to be NFL-ready players. It's the 2nd round, not the 1st.

Also, this video is from the 2010 season, ignoring any progress he made last season.

Jenkins has the potential to be really good. Jeffery will work his ass off to be average.

I don't want Jeffery but he is big and gives us a different type of receiver that we don't have. He would be dangerous on short yardage and goal line. Plus I think Cam will take him under his wing and help him stay in shape and develop a great relationship with him. Cam can make Jeffery be so much better than anyone is expecting in my opinion. I'd still take Jenkins over him.

Yeah we do already have this type of WR his name is Olson.

    • Lions were never going Freeling over Miller for the same reason we wouldn't have taken Miller had Freeling not been on the board. Miller is a career RT Lions have a hole at RT, we have a hole at LT. If we took Miller, it would have been for him to backup Moton until he retires and/or we release him, so the best case scenario is it would have been a wasted 1st round pick for at least 1, if not 2 years.  At least Freeling has a shot at playing this year without injury ahead of him, he absolutely can win the LT job if he earns it, but Miller would have never supplanted Moton this year unless he got hurt.
    • What up y’all. I like threads like this where we can stroll down memory lane. I remember the insane amount of site traffic pre-crash when we signed Keyshawn Johnson, 06 I believe. Raging about the Cowboys Christmas Eve loss in 05 (Peppers touched that FG attempt as sure as Cotchery caught it). When I found the huddle I basically had a first born baby, now I’ve got one in college and one in high school. Life comes at you fast, but the Panthers and the Huddle has been a steady constant in my life for many years.  Those who have been here, y’all are cool with me any time any where.    Cheers, genitals!
    • This is a weird post since it wasn’t like we got A’s across the board. We needed a QB and got a consensus top 2 player at that position. (I was pretty vocal that Stroud should’ve been the guy but…)  I think this draft we generally got better value. I’m not particularly optimistic on BY but another year in this offense playing with TMac he really needs to be a consistently average QB at a minimum
