For those who don't watch the whole video, Rivera had some good things to say about Jimmy Clausen, noting that he's seen real improvement over the last year. I've heard similar things from other observers that Clausen has worked very hard on improving and wouldn't be surprised if went ahead of Derek Anderson in the depth chart at some point. Apparently some higher ups are holding out hope of leveraging Jimmy into a decent trade bait at some point in his contract.

A guy improves enough to take the spot of the guy in front of him, guy gets cut to give back the job that he took. Makes little sense, help me explain???
