Update: Bobcats New Home & Away Jerseys revealed

And Hendo is changing to #9 as well?

I wish he'd show the front and sides a bit more but from what I can see of the color scheme, this looks sick.

It almost seems to incorporate elements of the old Hornets unis - It looks like teal and a deep blue that almost looks purple on the sides. I love that hue on the main part of the jersey though, it's almost like... (runs to crayola box) Indigo.

Wish we could see the whole jerseys but from what I can see this is a HUGE step forward.

The above post was comprised in its entirety using No-Homo.

Yeah, it was actually the first thing I noticed, lol. Man, seriously though, the use of orange to highlight the darker shade of blue, it just brings more pop to the unis. I really love it so far. I'm just curious if we changed the font or anything on the front.

Agreed, the new jersey looks awesome. Especially compared to this:

I'm also glad we're doing away with pinstripes.

I meant to put that in my last post as well. Good idea.

I still would like a logo redesign, but these unis are kick ass enough to carry us over. Definitely signaling a step forward and progression.

I thought we were making silver one of the primary colors from the pics I saw over at BP, but I'm not seeing much of it in the uni design, so I wonder if this is a finished product?

New jerseys....same crappy roster and ownership. But at least we have a new HC.....a college assitant whose only HC experience is a Div II school.

to be fair, the its WAY early to critique the roster for the 2012 team. Not saying I'm expecting a great team, but its still early.

How about the numbers/names/Charlotte? Can't quite tell, but they might be gray/silver. It also might be a little more prevalent on a Home or alternate jersey.

Could be, Instagram tends to change some of the shades/hues of colors from what I've noticed. But a silver alternate would be dope. People can say what they want about MJ's track record as a front office guy/owner so far, myself included, but he has always known what he was doing with gear. These jerseys are very Jordan Brand-esque in design, and that is nothing but a good thing.

    • Why are you so fixated on yards? Even if yards were a good judge of QB play, his low yardage totals in some of those games were partly a function of drops (looking at you Xavier Leggette…).  I’m not advocating that Bryce was elite for the last half of last year, but the eye test certainly supported high level QB play for large stretches. He made a lot of high difficulty, put it on the money/drop in the bucket throws. He converted on 3rd and 4th down, kept drives moving, and put the team in position to win games. And it’s not on him that the defense blew it late after he led game tying drives, Leggette dropped a game winning TD, or Chuba fumbled the ball in OT. We could have finished the season close to .500 with wins against 3 playoff teams including KC and Philly during that stretch largely due to Bryce’s play.    Has he sustained this level of play long enough to deserve an higher ranking? No. But for judging based in that stretch alone, he would. But whether he can perform more consistently at that level or build on that, and thus earns a higher ranking, remains to be seen.
    • Totally agree with you, if we had invested in drafting a corner or two I wouldn’t even ponder adding Ramsey. But, to be honest we legit added nobody to our corner room this offseason we have nobody worth developing. Even if Chau Smith Wade is better then what I think, he is the only guy we have invested draft capital into outside of our starters.
    • Look at his snap counts, your telling me that his entire college and pro football career every coach he has had has misused him? No offense but I don’t think you understand the role of a slot corner. Mike Jackson is the literal definition of an outside zone corner, he would be totally inept as a slot corner. Ala why he has been an outside corner his entire career.
