Atlanta Braves

The braves are tied for second place on my list of favorite sports teams:

1. Panthers

2. Tarheels / Braves

3. NU Wildcats

Growing up in NC, I was raised on braves baseball, and I am shocked at the lack of braves fans on these boards. I always thought that everybody from the southeast was a braves fan.

Anyways, my question is: Does anyone here know of any good Braves forums? The best I can find is the ESPN boards, which is lame and riddled with trolls.

Much fake rep to anyone who can help.

I lived in Florida from 2000 - 2005 and had season tickets to the Marlins during those years. That's why I'm a fan. I've never been a Braves fan. MLB Extra Innings on DirecTV lets me keep up with every Marlins game like I never left.

Man, Braves falter after 14 division titles and everybody jumps ship. Not saying anyone here jumped ship but it's hard to find true braves fans these days.

    • One thing I didn’t consider is how thin this draft is at quarterback. That’s going to drive up the market for backups and borderline starters like Willis, Jones, and Jameis Winston. Because of that, we’ll most likely be priced out of the market for this tier of backup.
    • We've already beat the #1 seed twice, why not one more? (Packers and Rams were both #1 seed at the time we played)
    • My determination has come down to this. Based on recent QB history, has Bryce's improvement warranted 50m per season? Lamar is the only original team QB to play on his 5th year. The others took major deals at the end of the 3rd, before or just after the option was signed. Chances are, we're getting asked for the same.  I haven't rooted for Bryce to fail. I've rooted for him to succeed so big that them signing that extension would give me no worries about our future at QB at all. We haven't seen that level of play consistently that this year. We haven't seen it in the past 6 games.  We're about to be at a threshold with Bryce and I worry about what this front office will do. We have a history of bad decision making and Morgan has been part of that group making those decisions. I don't want Carolina in the same boat Arizona and Miami are right now. It has nothing to with being right. It has to do with wanting to win for more than a single season. We've never had back to back winning seasons. Faith in their abilities is not warranted at this point.
