I think Hickson has plenty of potential, but he is apparently an elite level knucklehead that we dont need around our team. He doesnt fit the environment we seem to be building here.

If you are talking Hickson, may as well throw anthony randolph into the conversation.

Hawes is better than Mullens at everything Mullens does, plus he is a good rebounder, passer, shot-blocker, etc - all the things Mullens doesnt really do at all. Until Mullens can consistantly shoot over 35% from 3, he shouldnt really be playing more than 12 minutes a game.

Sorry is there a suspension on Hickson I'm not aware of or is this just an unfounded bias? Hickson has potential to be a top 10 power forward..

Free agent center Spencer Hawes has agreed to a two-year, $13 million deal with Philadelphia, a source confirmed.

Hawes waited a long time to complete this deal, as he turned down offers from the Sixers last offseason as a restricted free agent in order to become an unrestricted free agent and test the market. The 7-foot-1 big man, taken No. 10 overall by Sacramento in 2007, has averaged 9.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, one block and 2.6 assists per game over his five-year career.

Hawes had an inconsistent campaign in 2011-12, playing in only 37 of 66 regular-season games because of injury. He came up big in the playoffs, though: He combined for 43 points in Games 3 and 4 against the Bulls and tallied 24 rebounds in Games 5 and 6.

Yahoo! first reported the agreement, which can't be signed until the free agency moratorium ends on July 11.

    • LaMelo to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton, Drake Powell, and a pick.  Who says no?
    • Appreciate you, brother!  I know it was lengthy, but I felt whoever actually read it would appreciate it.
    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
