FA projected losses over next 2 years

And I did read your post. I am pointing out that shoulda, coulda, woulda, doesn't have much sway in the business side of companies for the most part and that includes football. That is why players hold out and often push for the most like Brees just did. They realize that the moment they are no longer able to play at a high level the paydays end and they get released. I agree that loyalty is important but I am old school and that is not how things work in most businesses these days.

There was never any loyalty shown to Dewayne Jarrett, Dellhomme, Thomas Davis, Mike Goodson, Jeff Otah or any NFL players by any team, any employee of any company, to include a Fortune 500 company. Companies never discuss the hard work, extra effort, overtime, training, going above and beyond whats required eventhough they aren't getting paid for, dedication that's been put in. NO! everyone knows that it is not the determining factor, but it is on the scale along with every other factor that will play a role in helping to reach a decision.
