of that stupid play that Chud wrote up? You all know which one I'm talking about.

We need to keep it as a reminder to Chud how stupid we look when you overthink this offense. When you write up plays you should be trying to confuse the other team, not ours. I knew he would get cocky after his performance last season, and it showed in the very first week. I hope he settles down soon and stops thinking of himself as this "wizard" or "magician" or whater the fug people are calling him. We have plenty of options to keep this offense simple and smart. We looked like dumbasses out there. I hope Chud crumpled up that page of his playbook right afterwards. I never want to see it again.

If you have to ask which play, then you didn't watch the game.

To be honest, considering no replay was shown afterwards, I had trouble figuring out where that ball was supposed to go. I only described it this way because I don't know how to describe it. The play took like 10 seconds to set up, and It was just this complete mess in our backfield. I think there was more than one fake hand-off, I'm not sure, but it was overly complicated and we gave the Bucs plenty of time to greet us in the backfield. It was like a nightmare. You quickly want to forget it ever happened, but you still see flashes of it in your head. There really was no other play in this game more embarassing than this one. I hope somebody knows which one I'm talking about.

The one that actually should have been a reverse to LaFell?

Yeah that play was literally retarded. We faked out the Bucs D forcing them to crash to one side, then we fake reverse and go BACK to the side where we had originally faked the Bucs into...and walaa the Bucs where in perfect position to tackle us in the backfield.

fuging genius Chud. You've had your poo-the-bed game, now get your act together.

I saw it... You run these plays when the opposing team is overpursuing and your O-line can hold up at least a little bit. In this game, the Bucs were running downhill right into our backfield and our O-line was powerless. Just a bad call at a worse time. It's hard to run double reverses when the DTs are in the backfield in .5 seconds.

    • He has attempted 8 shootout goals in his NHL career and made 1. He is among our worst SO guys on the entire roster in terms of career stats.
    • Against Miami, the Panthers were behind by 17 in the 2nd quarter facing a 4th - 5. Young completed a 21 yard pass and they went on to score 7 on that drive. Then in the 4th, down by 4, they faced a 4th - 5 and again, he completed a 17 yard pass and they went onto score a TD for the win. He also accounted for 2 of the 3 TD's.  As I said, he got them in that mess and no doubt, Rico gets credit as well, but missing on either of those 4th down conversions hands the ball over and results in 1 or 2 less TD's giving them a loss. As you said though, that's just a small quibble. The real question is how does the FO see it?  I am guessing they see it as something to build on. I think most peope here see it as a total loss and fully expect the FO to see it that way as well. Time will tell.
    • Kochetkov is just too streaky. TBD if Freddie is doing that too. Freddie is the more reliable goalie over his career. The Bussi kid looks like he could be a solid #2 eventually.  Just need to figure out the #1 guy. Same as almost every year. It's not talent, it's consistency and being able to step up in the playoffs.
