Read this very bad thing about Rivera

Fair point. My concern is that the trend has extended 5 games into year 2. At some point you have to beat a playoff-caliber team to be a playoff team, not just get the better of your fellow cellar dwellers.

Fine, but I would just say that he has sucked at points this year. Winning six games with a rookie QB and a mash unit at the linebacking core is a fine outing in my opinion.

Yep, I said this way back last year before the season was over. Week 12 I was saying we should have just lost out and tried to secure the number 2 pick. Im sorry, but I am not a believer in the notion "finishing the season strong means it will carry momentum over until next season." Everyone jumped on me saying it was netter to win out then secure the number 2 pick. Look At how well the Rams got it with that blockbuster trade out of the number 2 pick.

I've posted this in like every other site I go to. Did people really not know how pathetic those wins are? Those close losses really do fug with perception.

Indy's interim HC Arians already has a win more impressive in his first week and he's coached 1 game? Rivera's had 21.

There's a good reason Arians got a game ball along with Pagano, and it goes well beyond the fact it was Arians' first victory as an NFL head coach. Simply, he did a masterful job managing his team's emotions, guiding them through the lows of last week's news of Pagano's leukemia diagnosis and shepherding them to the inspiring highs of Sunday afternoon.

They overcame so much more adversity than the Panthers have even seen.

-Jim Harbaugh

-John Harbaugh

-John Fox 2years Super Bowl, last year Denver Divisional Rd

-Mike Smith

I can go more. Want me to?

Obviously Newbies doesn't know history or facts

To add to the list: Sean Payton made it to the NFC championship, Rex Ryan did the same in the AFC twice in his first years.

Nobody expects a superbowl in two years. They expect a competitive team capable of playing through adversity and closing out games. Not one that shits the bed in the fourth quarter.

  • 3 weeks later...

So what you're saying is that our coach is outmatched when facing someone who has a clue....

Well pack it up boys...put a bow on it cuz we're done then. Schedule ain't getting any easier...F it....where is Greg Hardy going out tonight? Rounds on him all night....season is over

Lol

At the time you were being sarcastic but damn there was so much truth in that.
