Low Expectations vs High Expectations

This is just another in a long lone of things that come under the "Cam Effect".

Fans see Cam and they just know success is on the way. Some folks can wait. Some folks are a tad more antsy.

Current management has done nothing to inspire any confidence that they can build a winning team around Cam. I'm just hoping and praying they don't ruin his career like they did Smittys.

    • We only have 5 sacks which is dead last. Some teams have 20-30. Our pass rush is atrocious, worst in the league. That’s why we’re 22nd in scoring defense even with a shutout. That Atlanta game helps our rankings so much, but we’ll likely trend down over the season as it counts for 6% instead of 17%. Personally, the yardage numbers can be deceiving which is why I like scoring defense as a better representation. We of course look way better than last year but I wouldn’t consider it a top 10 defense yet.
    • You mean he got crap in 2005 after taking us to the NFC Championship. I don't remember that honestly but am not saying that is it not true. But in either case do you think it was justified?
    • Agree especially with BC at ROT I was thinking of this game primarily when I said that. They have been pretty good with adapting to different combinations this year. As far as it goes.
