I'm beginning to believe this was a "trap game" for the falcons and we got very lucky to be ahead in the first place. The Falcons seems sort of unprepared, like they were taking us too lightly. When they focused they were able to score on our defense at will.

Mostly due to poor tackling and blown coverage. I thought our defensive line played outstanding. The rest of the defense was questionable.

Also, have to give props to Matt Ryan. He never once seemed rattled by the pressure.

Well here's what worries me- the secondary and tackling problems were about on par for what we've had for awhile. The pass rushing was literally the best it's been in the past 5 years. What is more likely to last as the season continues? I think the chances are that we caught lightning in a bottle with our pass rush yesterday and that it reverts to its same mediocre self for most of the season.

What you saw yesterday was a team that was motivated. Can't keep motivating a team when the coaching staff can't produce wins. Its that simple.
