How many rookies will break Cam's passing record this year?

Luck has 1674 yard passing in 7 games, for an average of about 239 yards. Now if you multiply that 239 by 16 games, he is projected to finish with 3826 yards. Short of Cam's rookie season.

RG3 has 1601 yard passing in 8 games, for an average of about 200 yards. Now if you multiply that 200 by 16 games, he is projected to finish with 3200 yards. Well short of Cam's rookie season.

Tannehill who got injured today and only got 18 yards passing, has 1454 yards in 7 games for an average of about 207 yards. Now if you multiply that 207 by 16 games, he is projected to finish with 3323 yards. Well short of Cam's rookie season.

R.Wilson has 1230 yards in 8 games for an average of about 153 yards. Now if you multiply that 153 by 16 games, he is projected to finish with 2448 yards. Unbelievably short of Cam's rookie season.

B. Weeden has 1783 yards in 8 games for an average of about 223 yards. Now if you multiply that 223 by 16 games, he is projected to finish with 3568 yards. Well short of Cam's rookie season.

Feel stupid or what...

Not at all. Look at the NFL stats for yourself.

Aint that an ESPN concoction?LOL

I've never put much stock into QBR.

For example, Cams 3rd down conversions on run plays or his TD runs don't factor into that...

It also doesn't take into account fumbles, sacks taken, etc.

I just think people like making up stats just to have something to talk about, it is a relatively new thing they cam up with just to come up with it. Has no value IMO, you can clearly see yards, TDs, ints, and comp%. Ya know...the stats that matter.
