Chud Need to get out of the skybox part 2

Get ya ass on the field with your QB. Its quite obvious Cam/Shula relationship is way better than him and Chud's. So fire Chud and tell Shula take over. Idc what nobody say, people said whatever last time I made this but its true. You're doing no good being isolated... people complain about Cam isolating himself. Get down there and make adjustments based on what others see

Offensive coordinators work from the skybox. That has nothing to do with the problems he has.

I'm sick of this lame excuse. Plenty of successful QB/OC combos have the coach on the sideline.

Why the hell wouldn't you want him there with a young QB especially?

A few oc's work from the sidelines but traditionally and most commonly the don't. That preference is irrelevant to the play calling. If he was on the side he wouldn't change his type of offense.

My point was more in the actual coaching presence, not his calls. Given this offenses struggles this year one would think someone like maybe our head coach would suggest him being down there with his offense and QB.

We have two wins... Something needs to change.

Exactly... all I see so far is just lack of communication. There's no adjustments. That's why the offense sucks. Here you have one guy somewhere else calling it how HE sees and we just run it. I remember it was the same with Davidson and he got his ass on the field

    • It would depend on how we lost... If we lose a bunch of 17-13 . 20-7 type games where the defense plays well and offensively Bryce is sh***TING the bed...then he wouldn't get fired.  If we are losing 40-9, 38-14 type games..then yeah it's a possibility.   Couple that with our tough schedule.. if we show well in lets say half those games.. win either Seattle or New England game, at least 1 win vs division oponents.. he's good.  So imo.. to get fired he needs to : Loose badly against the top tier teams ie Blown out Show no progress offensively from last year. Show an unwillingness to bench Bryce again if he is horrible over multiple games ..  Get swept by the Saints again.
    • I think he's gone, and rightfully so, if he turns in another losing record. The "talented roster," regardless of how true or not, is a double-edged sword. If the roster is so much improved now from 202X then why are you still producing losing seasons? On one hand, maybe that's what needs to happen. Have the GM hire the new coach, and then have the new coach pick his guy to run his system. That is typically how it works in the NFL. Not the forced inheritance deal we have had in place.
    • Hinging on Brooks to be our spark...be good if it happens... but not holding my breath....RB next draft. Morgan gambled...it would be a 2 year payoff if thing happened.
