WOW!!!! Can we sign Spag to somewhere on the staff no??

Im gonna laugh at that 34 D for NO. They dont even have the fuggn personnel for it. We're in better position to convert to a 34 than they are.

It's not like the Saints have the personnel for a 4-3 either. If there's a time to switch it might as well be now. Regardless of what scheme they pick, they are basically starting from zero.

Saints have shown they are pretty savvy in Free Agency and in the last few years I'm sure you'll agree virtually everything they do is done better than it is done on Carolina.

It sucks but they've been going to the Playoffs and winning a Super Bowl while we win fug all but that's how it is. It's easy to hope they'll suck and drop to the bottom of the NFC South but I'm noy going to stick my head in the sand and ignore the fact that New Orleans will be much improved next year, one way or another.

I guess we'll see and check back in about 10 months.

If the Saints do anything it will be because of their offense and their head coach coming back, not because of some madden esque switch to a 3-4 for all the reasons that I mentioned.

good point. i think they have the personnel that fits the 4-3 better, but not well.

i'm not sure they've got the personnel to run any defense well. it's kind of like trying to find the best offense for clausen.

A Jon Hankins or Jesse Williams wouldve easily help that 43 D.

Now, what are you going to do with Will Smith and Cameron Jordan?

    • Not many are talking about this player. He played well as a rookie last year. If he refines his blocking, continues studying film, and keeps working hard, I can see him being the next Greg Olsen. I’m expecting 55 catches, 700 yards, 4 TDs this season.
    • I'm not a Bryce hater and I would 100% move on.  Especially looking at how the upcoming qb draft looks on paper.  Hopefully he continues to improve but if in 3 seasons you're still chasing average season numbers then he's not going to be the guy.  You've just got to keep taking swings until you hit.  Average qbs without any elite physical traits cant get it done anymore.  So this year Hopefully he continues to develop and is above average statistically.
    • Meltdowns???? He was pulled by Canales because he wasn't executing the game plan after 2 games into the season so he could watch Dalton execute the offense and show Bryce the windows available in the NFL, how to push the ball down the field and how to step up and move around when blitzed. When Young came back 5 games later he clearly watched and improved. Enough he was named the future starter. He doesn't have a history of  meltdowns nor is there any reason to assume he will have one. From what I have read he is mentally strong and emotional stable. He may have bad games down the road, everyone does. But this is all a learning experience for him and so far he seems to be making progress. I can understand being hesitant on anything Panthers, but Young has surprisingly been able to gain his confidence after a disastrous start. You aren't alone in being cautious but I think he is the future. I thought he was too small and too short to succeed in the NFL. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised last year and am optimistic about the offense for the first time since Wilks and Dalton were decent.
