Recommended Posts

First things first, Canada beat Slovenia in OT today and will advance as the 1st or 2nd seed in group A; depending on the outcome of the Switzerland-Belarus game tomorrow (Canada needs a Swiss loss in regulation).

USA is currently the 2nd seed in group B, but can advance as the number one seed with a win over Slovakia tomorrow.

The Czech Republic are in a win-or-go home game against Norway tomorrow. The Czech's need a win in regulation to move on to the quarterfinals.

Well obviously the big new is the injury to Eric Staal; he suffered a serious knee injury when Alex Hedler came in and made knee on knee contact with Eric. Edler received a 5+20 (major penalty with a game misconduct).

After the injury to Staal, Canada struggled to get things together and ultimately lost 3-2 in a penalty shootout.

Czech Republic was also eliminated as the were unable to solve the undefeated Swiss.

The big news was Team USA's domination against Russia. The reinforcements arrived in T.J. Oshie and Alex Galchenyuk and USA rolled Russia 8-3.

    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
    • You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
