Former Hurricane Bates Battaglia wins Amazing Race with Brother

Former Carolina Hurricane forward Bates Battaglia and his brother Anthony were announced as this season's Amazing Race winners. Bates, who spent over half of his career in the Carolina's said that he leaned on hockey to help him get through some of the challenges. Bates, who is still very involved in the Hurricanes organization said that he enjoys the reality tv shows and would make an appearance on Dancing With The Stars (if asked), but he would not do The Bachelor.

I'd never watched the show until this season when my Mother-in-Law began hyping it every time I talked with her... then I picked them to win it all while watching the second episode. Now Mother-in-Law is pissed because I was right...
