NFL's Best/Worst Contracts

Recommended Posts

Perhaps we can be the first to roll out five and six WR sets. Steve Smith, AE and Pilares on one side and LaFell, Adams and Gettis on the other, and Hixon and Ginn on either side of Cam to give our offense that extra umph. That's right, D-Will's, Tolbert's and especially Stew's services are no longer needed now that Cam is on the scene. God forbid Stew miss a few games for the second appreciable time in a season, let's just nip it in the bud now and cut his overvalued ass (and D-Will along with him). And though Tolbert is cheap, let the human bowling ball roll his fat ass outta here too because we all know Cam is a beast on the goal line.

Why stop with the running backs? Let's clean out every arguably overpaid position on the roster? Everybody knows CJ is taking us to the cleaners. He's stunting Alexander's development anyway. We just acquired two linebackers, so let's give Beason his pink slip. He's no longer the poster boy for MLBs on the panthers, much less the league, he's now the epitome of cashing it in after getting that big pay day. Let's roll Cam out at DE and LB. He'll be the first DE-LB all rolled up into one.

Hell, let's just let Cam go stag. Superman has made all other men obsolete.

    • Apparently, it's hip surgery for Pyotr... Thank God he's pretty young bc that is gonna be one hell of a rehab. Hopefully, Bussi can keep his throne warm for him until he's ready for his triumphant return.
    • The Urban and Reich seasons were epic NFL failures for completely different reasons while also linking these 2 QBs. Wasn't Reich fired earlier in the season by a game or something?  Trevor's bust to Youngs bust is interesting and obviously I would take the former 10 out of 10 times. Still, Trevor has only had 1 game over .500 in a season until this year when playing. What I am saying is that that HC is winning with what he has, which isn't perfect, and in a place that scrapping 9 games together is not a given...usually with help from  another QB along the way. And that's in the AFC South. And the Jags are actually paying their QB vs us hopefully dodging a horrendous 5th option. So that's a lot tougher than what it cost to field Young this year or next. I wasn't really trying to prop up Lawrence but Coen. Dude is doing good work and it showed when Carolina played them. The difference between him and DC is like Lawrence and Young at the minimum IMO.
