Kurb wasn't paying attention to his twitter account and got fooled.

Teh Kurb with breaking news!

Wow!  I hope not.  I admire Rondo's game and would loosely call myself a Rondo fan but, I want no part of trading for him.  I'd rather keep Kemba and whatever else it would take to get him.  I'm a bigger Kemba than Rondo fan...

That would be my guess...

And Ainge seems like a big enough dirtbag to want to get Kemba back in the Huskies' region as a key piece to his rebuilding efforts.  DO NOT LIKE.

Like I said, I'm a Rondo fan from afar but, he's way too temperamental and older than Kemba as well...  I wouldn't want him on this team for what it would take to get him.

What would be reasonable for them to ask?

Kemba + Multi-Picks?

If that's so and (trying to remember) a couple of our picks are up in the air for next season anyways, wouldn't that be a move that gets the BuzzCats closer to some serious wins?

Do you think projecting out that Kemba will be a) keepable and b) good as or better than Rondo?

The Bobcats can't draft worth a damn anyway.  Might as well go after proven vets.  Rondo is a top-5 PG that is a threat to get a triple double every night.

But according to some people Rondo doesn't fit because he can't score. LMAO!

Furthermore, it makes me wonder what it going on in the front office again...  The Jefferson signing, Rondo rumors, etc., definitely seems like we're exploring "win now" options and considering abandoning the approach of patience with young core players.

    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
    • I thought tanking wasn't actually a thing and we were firmly against it though?
