More piling on Rivera--Prisco ranks the coaches

OK, my turn.

Rivera has said that he and Chud saw what Cam did as a rookie and thought they could amp things up and take us to the next level. IMO, this is the only real mistake Rivera has made. He made that decision without taking Cam into the discussion. They thought Cam could do whatever they could come up with. It was a mistake. Even Cam has limitations.

Letting Cam be Cam is what Shula is going to do. This alone should make our Offense consistent, and good. Allowing Cam to do what he does best is what will make this O work. And all this team needs is for the O to consistent, play Rivera type D, and it will be plenty good.

All coaches make mistakes. It is the team on the field, and their play, that makes it successful. This team has all the ingredients to be successful. All we have to do to be very good is let Cam be Cam, and let Rivera let the dogs out on D.

The future has already started my friends. It is too late to stop it even if you wanted to. Shula allowing Cam to be Cam, with Rivera leading the D, and we are going to be a tough team to beat.

Rivera and Co. are primed to take the next step. Considering where we were just 2 short years ago, I think Rivera has done a fine job. We are ready to step up, and I truly believe the time is nigh for the rest of the league to find out just how good we really are.

tl/dr version. Rivera and Shula have fixed the only true problem we every really had. Thinking Cam truly was Superman.
