Go for it on 4th and 1 and win

since when has Cam been stopped on a 4th and 1 qb keeper?

Exactly, They effectively stripped the ball out of our best playmakers hand.  Hell, the play before should have been a play designed to let cam run, or throw it.  Fact of the matter is, we pulled the game out of our best playmakers hand, YET AGAIN and gave the game to the functional retard who is our head coach.

Its not about going for it on 4th an 1...but the horrible play calls prior to that decision.  WE were playing for the 3 the whole time...we were playing to go up 6 when I'm guessing the coaching staffs knows a TD and extra point equal 7?  Our secondary done....our def tired....they're killing us on the run....what else would you think to do....go for it....you go for it every down....you try to get that first down then a TD to put the game out of any reach even with them having timeouts....this is horrible.....horrible...very slim chance to save the season....

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
