If we make the playoffs how will they discredit Cam having better numbers than their hero's?

Newton: 59% 675yd, 7td, 2 turnovers

Wilson: 64% 718yd, 6td, 3 turnovers

Lucky: 66% 763yd, 5td, 1 turnover

Colin: 56% 818yd, 4td, 4 turnovers

RGIII: 63% 1032yd, 5td, 7 turnovers

And when you think about it: Cam should/may have had one extra TD from Buffalo 2 weeks ago, if Rivera had any balls, trying to close the game out (along with the accompany yardage). And he could have even had one more, if Rivera tried to get Cam his 4th of the game (passing) against the Giants in the second half. So with Cam and Rivera, you never get anything close to stat padding. Newton usually earns his.

I've seen Luck, Kaepernick, RG3 and Wilson attain a lot of Garbage time stats last year. And this year, about 80% of RG3's stats are from garbage time, as the Redskins were seemingly/instantly blown out during every game.

As far as your post: I hope the Panthers make the playoffs. However, with Rivera as head coach, you have to remain very disconnected emotionally/wishfully, as a fan for your own sanitys sake. Lol

how does RGIII have 1000 yards already?

Ultra/UBER (with requisite English, German, and French Pronunciations) Garbage Time!!

Redskins, have been literally out of every game by the 2nd quarter (first two really). Against Green Bay, Shanahan kept RG3 in [practically] the entire game, despite the fact it was over by half time.

In the eagles game they were down 2 possession with 9 minutes left. That's not garbage time. The game against Detroit was well contested and lost by a td. Only the green bay game wasn't close.

The reason Cam is getting flack is the same reason Manziel will be hammered. Plus Cam doesn't have wins to remedy that. Not anyone is following but RG3 is getting hammered all over the media the last few weeks. Don't get it twisted.

This forum don't like when the likes of RG3 gets attention from the media while they mirror the media's opinion that Luck is at the top and the rest are bottom bitches who can't measure up. That's too hypocritical. And I'm saying Luck is the least talented of all of them. He is neither fluid nor that accurate.

Not true (at least for me and many others here).

We criticize RG3 and Kaep, cause they're not pocket passers, and relied on/were bailed out by a gimmick offense and their run games. They never really had to think on their own out there (despite what we're told). That's all.

I agree with you regarding Luck. Many here, think he's better than he's actually demonstrated. Agreed. However, many of us here, know he's not as good as advertised as well. He was good last year. And he's only OK this year. I get it.

What I will give Luck credit for though (like with Cam, Tannenhill, and Wilson to a degree): At least he earned his playing a mostly conventional offense. The Redskins, played a high school offense for RG3 last year. And Kaep was very reliant on his run game, the pistol and play calling. But some how got credit as some type of brilliant savant/surgeon behind the LOS. SMH

Cam on the other hand, is handicapped by [far] the worst coaching  of all the QB's mentioned. How many gams/near wins has Rivera blown? How many potential game winning, sealing opportunities has Rivera denied Cam/the team, by holding on to the ball with the smallest of leads? So every thing he gets, he earns. Rivera won't even allow Cam to have garbage time, or stat pad. SMH/LOL

I watched the entire Eagles game and most of the Green Bay game (didn't catch RG3 week 3) and the dude could barely complete a fuging pass until the defenses called off the dogs.  Especially not one downfield.

He was like 11/24 99 yards 0 TDs and 2 INTs before the Eagles got lax on him and pumped the brakes midway through the 3rd.  Then suddenly RG3 starts completing those little dink-and-dunk passes that the defense handed to him on a silver platter and it boosted his stats considerably.

The Green Bay game was similar.  The offense couldn't do jack poo in both games until it was completely out of hand.

Sorry, but the dude has been below average so far without having the threat of getting burned by the monster run game read option combo that he and Morris present which opens up his little signature dink-and-dunk screen passes which go for more yards than they normally should.

I said it all last year, the dude is overrated.  He has never impressed me as a passer.

BINGO!!! :thumbsu:

Ahem, it was probably based off of his stats last year, albeit his rookie season.

However, they changed the offense, and he's not throwing as much, or as far [as often] down-field as he did last year.

20.49% of his pass attempts through three games last season were deep attempts. 20.43% of his pass attempts this season were deep attempts. He's not throwing as much as last season, 122 attempts versus 93 attempts, but his deep attempts have not changed.
