Austin and Patterson were not even the best receivers in the draft and that was my problem with picking them at 14.

I kept saying they were mainly just kick returners and not worth picking that high in the draft. Austin can't seem to find any yards after the catch because his speed was over rated due to the lack of talent he played against and Patterson was mainly a kick returner, which he has showed so far, that they wanted to turn into a receiver expect he can't catch the ball.

Wanted Star & glad we got him. Anyone that thinks Patterson is just a kick returner is crazy. He is raw, & yes is hasn't done much so far which u can contribute to Ponder 100%. Put Patterson with Cam & u would see a beast of a man. Faster, stronger, & better hands then Dez Bryant. Route running & football IQ needs improvement

very content with the star pick. i was on the WR early train, and still am. wanted Patterson or Hopkins and both of their respected coaching staffs have been raving about their young WRs. we decided to go with the DTs, but must address this position next year early.

that 2013 class was considered deep by most.Patterson and Hopkins will be decent WRs in the league if they continue to progress at the position.Ebron is a special athlete tho, his skills are showcased a lot in the seams and middle of the field.
