Bad position

4 penalties in 8 plays. Two personal fouls, a defensive holding and an offensive pass interference.

5 screen passes, one when the game was already decided against a team who is known to bring pressure. Three of those screens were to the wide receiver. Zero draw plays. Four option plays. 20 total runs.

36 pass plays. One int was on a play call from the pass Smitty dropped. One was on a good read by Cam but an under throw and one in garbage time. Cam deserves all the blame for the 2nd int to Washington as it was a poor read. The third doesn't matter and the first would've been a TD if thrown correctly.

The fumble was forced on a play that the Cardinals simply overloaded our line. Where is the swing pass out of the other side? Shula? Shula? Shula?

Brandon Lafell dropped the ball on a dream play call from Rivera.

Shula? Shula? Shula? Jeff Davidson? Ummm.

Seriously, there were so many miscues that fall on more people than Cam. Smith and Lafell come to mind. Shulas game plan was ultimately not sustainable and should have been evelutionary like the Cardinals did. Pass more and slowly transition to the run.

They mentioned that Rivera studies analytics like baseball teams do. Where in this analysis did he see that running the ball 20 times was a good idea. Where did he see that throwing nearly 43 times( including sacks) was a good idea?

Better coaching, better production on offense. I'm not a Cam nuthugger but he was on his way to the best game I've ever seen him play, and we made no adjustments to the pressures, such as screens, delays, play action, boot legs. Very much like the preseason offense.

Positive: cardinals only gained 250 yards.

    • TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards. For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.
    • If anyone feels like they can't have a conversation about Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career maybe assess why and how these conversations end this way instead of looking to shoot the messenger. Why is it okay to label anyone else on the team or coaching staff trash? Folks on the huddle and across the fanbase on social media have fully thrown anyone and everyone including rookie 8th overall pick TMac fully under the bus multiple times this season. But some of you guys apparently expect a pat on the back because Bryce Young successfully evaded a few potential sacks while Tyler Shough got consumed by our pass rush throughout the game and still had a superior performance. The state of this division is hilariously mediocre at best. Bryce Young is the only player on this roster who is allowed to have the lowest bar possible yet we have invested the most resources in him. It's lunacy.
