I don't think that makes him a mobile QB.

The concern ironically is his horrible yard per pass numbers..... Bradford doesn't take lots of shots downfield. That style neutralizes our defensive front

Maybe not, but he is far more athletic than most non Rams fans know.

You can thank our OC for the ypa numbers being so low.  Schotty, to this point in the season, has been determined to get T. Austin the ball behind the LOS.  It seems he has opened up a little in the past 2 games since our running game has awakened somewhat.   Sunday should be interesting I expect we will see more of a passing attack this game they we did against the Texans last week.  I think we can exploit your secondary.

I think it is partly your OC....but Bradford's yard per pass numbers have been poor I believe since he arrived in the NFL. Part of that has to be QB over OC.

Our secondary on paper says it can be exploited.....but no one is actually doing it. That is bc everything else on the field is pretty dang good.

Wilson is the only one to really do it.....and no other QB would have gotten those passes of to begin with. Wilson was harassed. Your standard Bradford type QB would have had 7-8 sacks taken.

I think it will be a close game. Rams don't give us the matchup we thrive against. Carolina generally doesn't come out with a W in close ones. We comically lose them. I think most non Panther fans see are record now and over the past few years and fail to realize in all the losses we are up. A strong team......that simply doesn't know how to finish a close game

Here's a little clip of our "immobile" QB running down a CB.

Immobile wasnt a good word. What I meant was our D struggles against elusive, running QBs. We struggled against Russell Wilson, EJ Manuel and such. Bradford is mobile yes but hes not a QB you have to draw up ways to stop his running game like you would for a Russell Wilson

I don't think we struggled against EJ bc he is mobile but bc he relies on the short pass

He does not take shots due to our playcalling........he has even addressed he loves to throw it deep. I blame the coaching on that one.

Also IDK anything about the Panthers speed on Defense......The rams are if not the fastest team in the NFL on offense they are close, but for some reason our staff does not call many deep throws etc. With austin, cook, givens, quick, pettis, and our speedy back we should be a much more explosive team then we are......Last weeks game bradfrod threw a perfect deep ball that givens just dropped. We will see though if for once we use the speed (again IDK how quick the panthers defense is etc.)

well, every OC y'all have has him throwing short don't they? I know when he came into the league it was bad

I ain't knocking it. That is the worst matchup our D can face. Him trying to take shots downfield and "exploit our secondary".....is actually what plays to our strengths.

Carolina's front 7 is probably top 3 in the NFL. I hope you try to take deep shots downfield. That allows our defensive front to play and impact the game.

Our secondary speed is nothing special. It is a double edged sword trying to attack our weakness on paper (CBs) downfield. Attempt it....and you allow our front 7 a chance to be beast.

I heard the same thing last week from houston fans about Watt etc. and he had zero tackles and one QB hurry so we will see.

I am not talking about one man. Carolina's front 7 > Hou.

Goes back to Bradford playing small ball..... that neutralizes a front and their impact in a game. Which is what I said I was worried about.

But if you are going to talk about him switching up and taking shots downfield..... then our front is put into playmaking positions. I don't think the Rams will do such. I think they will play small ball.
